Which software needed patches to realize that?

What about Samba, SSH and Cups, can X2go use system packages to avoid
code-duplication?

I would really like a future where X2go (or something like that) and NX
would find a way into Debian main (and with that in Ubuntu).
I realize that this is the hard way, I know what the problems are.

If it helps I am willing to sponsor some money for development-work to
get the NX protocol into Xorg, or in some kind of plugin for Xorg (to
avoid license problems).
