For the past year we have been using X2Go, replacing another program that was not as reliable.  Having an open source tool that is reliable and well maintained is very important to us.

We have deployed software applications such as Matlab and SAS on our Linux servers.  End users can easily use the graphical user interface of these application on their Windows desktop by using X2Go.

We have found X2Go to be a reliable program for our research community at our
university.
