Hi!
Client side printing does not work on my x2goserver.
When looking at the file /etc/cups/cups-x2go.conf I am wondering whether I need the ssh keys only if the cupsserver resides on a different server as the x2go server?

We have received several feedbacks on breakage of the printing functionality.
One feedback maintained that CUPS overmounts /tmp with CUPS version
from Debian jessie [1].
Unfortunately, I have not had time and priority to track this down any
further (and neither did anyone else of the devs seemingly).

If X2Go Server and CUPS server are hosted on the same machine, then
nothing needs to done. Printing should work out-of-the box, once you
have the Virtual X2Go Printer set up in CUPS.
If CUPS server and X2Go Server(s) is/are hosted on different machines,
then you need to deploy public SSH keys so that x2goprint@CUPS-Server
can connect to x2goprint@x2goserver (AFAIR).

hi! same happenes to me with a new installation. Looks like a problem with x2gomounts in server side. My server log also reports the problem with each job sent to cups: x2gomountdirs WARNING: mounting of /cygdrive/C/Users/

I have just tested the Linux version of X2Go Client and the Linux
version of PyHoca-GUI with various X2Go Server versions (nightly
builds, latest release, Debian unstable/testing/wheezy as server OS).
My conclusion is:
X2Go Server feels sane, same with CUPS X2Go against various CUPS versions. PyHoca-GUI could retrieve all print jobs and print/view them X2Go Client failed several times when viewing/printing -> see bug #702 [1]

As there currently seems to be something wrong with X2GoClient's built-in printing feature, I would like to point to an older posting of mine where I described a workaround for Windows Clients: http://lists.x2go.org/pipermail/x2go-dev/2011-December/003137.html
We'be been using this approach with our X2Go-based security solution ever since, and even wrote a (commercial) installer to automate all these steps. Our customers seem to be quite happy with it. ;-)
Have a look at http://www.baur-itcs.de (in German) or contact me off-list if you need commercial assistance.
