Dear List,
I'm trying to use X2go client with a http proxy connection. In the session options I selected the "Use proxy server for connection" and the type "HTTP", I entered the proxy port and address but when I start the session I always get this error: "cannot connect to proxy server".
What it's wired is that even if I selected the http option when I try to start the session a window opens asking for the password for the SSH proxy.
Are there any problems with the http proxy connection? Can I use X2go client with this type of connection?
Thank you in advance for your help
Kind regards
Caterina

The http proxy option has not been well tested at all. It should work
in theory with some recent libssh version underneath, but it is not
getting tested regularly on new release. It may well be that a
regression in the SSH/HTTP proxy code has happened and is causing the
SSH passphrase pop up dialog on proxy connection attempts.
