Hello,
To use Pyhoca-GUI you need 4 steps:
I think for many normal people this is "complex". They would like 2 steps:
I am afraid this is not possible with Pyhoca GUI. Correct?
What's the advantage to have a separate connection and session?
With regards, Paul.

Afaik pyhoca-gui is meant for admins that connect to several servers during one work-session.
For normal users there are x2goclient and x2goclient-cli, which do:
- start the program, so that it's visable and not only an icon
- start a connection and session to a server
You can even give these parameters to start a specific session so they only have to enter their username and password.
Have fun,

My main target is myself, that is system administration and being able

x2goclient-cli is not maintained anymore and kept as simple example.
If you need a script x2go client, please use pyhoca-cli instead.

Yeah! Take a look at the pyhoca-gui man page.
Thanks, Mike
