I am working with pyhoca-cli in mobile devices running debian (some hard work hacking and compiling in old HTC devices) i want to detect the client resolution automatically and switch for the screen resolution, density and desktop that better fit.
¿is there any way or do i need to start coding for it?

The coding should become part of python-x2go. We should test for
desktop geometry (i.e. available space for possible desktop windows,
that is: omitting space for taskbars, etc.).
