Hello all.
I am needing to move from NoMachine (v3 server) as it has problems with some applications on resume (linked to cairo libraries) but the client works exactly as I want which is to use a 4:3 monitor if attached. My laptop is Windows 7 and the monitor setup is one of
Laptop on own - just use internal screen Laptop site 1 - internal screen is master, 4:3 is secondary Laptop site 2 - internal screen off, 4:3 is master, 16:9 is secondary.
The NoMachine client will always run full screen on the 4:3 screen which ever it is and the session runs there too. Reconnection works fine and if on a different screen resizes automatically.
The x2go client runs in its own window. I'm OK with that. I've only tested using Laptop site 1 at the moment.
On initial session start up I can get it full screen on the 4:3 monitor. That's fine. But on session reconnect it opens in a window on the laptop screen and if I move to the 4:3 screen and maximize (not what I want exactly) the session doesn't resize itself.
I use an external vcxsrv as the "embedded" version crashes on session reconnect.
I'd also expect the session to move to the correct monitor if I disconnect from/connect to external monitors while session is running.
Any help much appreciated.
