Hi folks,
I recently upgraded to Fedora 36 which includes more gtk4 versions of apps and discovered that they don't work in x2go:
[jrb@fedora ~]$ ldd /usr/bin/gnome-chess | grep gtk libgtk-4.so.1 => /lib64/libgtk-4.so.1 (0x00007fb628e7b000) [jrb@fedora ~]$ gnome-chess
(gnome-chess:2552687): Gdk-ERROR **: 07:55:29.217: XInput2 support not found on display Trace/breakpoint trap (core dumped)
From a cursory googling around this issue it appears there isn't anything on the user side that can be done about this on an app-by-app basis, is that right?
Cheers, thanks,
Jonah
The apps require Xinput2 - x2go (or rather nx-libs) only support Xinput1. There's nothing you can do about this as a user. Of course contributions to NX implementing xinput2 are welcome ;-)
You can try x2gokdrive (can be activated in the session tab of x2goclient).
