Hello, I'm using the stable release of x2goserver from ppa for Lucid LynX distribution. Connection via last Windows x2goclient is correct but my keyboard is messy. if from the client I check no keyboard ovverride, then my french Altgr Key isn't working as expected.
If I force french keyboard, Altgr is working.
Anyway, the NumPad isn't working at all.
Is there any solution ? Thank oui.

I suppose you are in GNOME 2 on Ubuntu 10.04. So there are two ways...
Use the GNOME keyboard settings tool to configured the client-side keyboard. This way is to go, if you use the X2Go server machine locally _and_ via X2Go.
Let x2gosetkeyboard do the keyboard customization job.
a. Remove all keyboard settings for your user under GNOME(2) b. set keyboard type to ,,auto'' in the X2Go session profile and leave the layout empty
Once logged in, please report what ,,setxkbmap -print'' spits out to stdout...
And: supposing you are French... The X2Go team is looking for a French
translator for their software GUIs. Interested?

Use the GNOME keyboard settings tool to configured the client-side keyboard. This way is to go, if you use the X2Go server machine locally _and_ via X2Go. Just tried this solution, this doesn't work with numeric pad. Rest of keyboard is OK.
Let x2gosetkeyboard do the keyboard customization job.
a. Remove all keyboard settings for your user under GNOME(2) b. set keyboard type to ,,auto'' in the X2Go session profile and leave the layout empty This one works great. Thank you for the tip.
Once logged in, please report what ,,setxkbmap -print'' spits out to stdout... Haven't set my mail client on this server sorry.
And: supposing you are French... The X2Go team is looking for a French translator for their software GUIs. Interested? Should be OK. I have some programming and subversion skills. But I don't know about internationalisation code. Need some weeks to have time with this.

Please ping me if you have time for that.
There is a wiki page about translation of x2goclient[1] and a
README.i18n for translating pyhoca-gui[2]
Thanks, Mike
