Hi,
X2GO is working perfectly on debian squeeze, however does anyone know
how to change a user's password via the x2go client on login?
unfortunately our set-up requires passwords to be changed every 60
days and when its expired I get the message:
Connection failed WARNING: Your password has expired. Password change
required but no TTY available.
apart from using putty or plink or ssh to trigger a password change,
Im hoping there's a way to do this within the client.
Kind Regards,
Kris.

<snip> Working on this is something we've had on our company's to do list for a long time. Alex and I had a discussion about this a couple of years ago and there are serious difficulties in handling it. Nonetheless, we need to find a way. What is worse is that the x2goclient keeps trying the same password for each of its connections so if you have account lockout enabled, one trips it very quickly as a single incorrect login using x2goclient multiplies to between three and four incorrect attempts - John
