Hi all,

I got a debian machine with XFCE (window compositor disabled) I access from both a Ubuntu 22.04 machine (XFCE, here, too, tried disabling the compositor) and Windows 10.

From Windows 10 it's reasonably ok, but from the Ubuntu/XFCE screen refresh lags like Wing Commander II on a 286.

How come?
