Hello,
When I log in to Fedora 30 locally, it prompts me for my keyring password on login, and I type it and then I proceed normally.
I then can open evolution and it accesses my credentials fine.
However, when connecting to my desktop via x2go, evolution says it failed to obtain access token, credentials, etc, and keeps prompting me for mail passwords and doesn't work.
If I open seahorse, it doesn't even list my default keyring.
If I use x2godesktopsharing, it works fine, but I can't do that from a laptop because it makes the display too small.
Please tell me there is some way to fix this?
Thanks,
Dear Ducky and X2Go team, I see that more people have similar permission issues. "If I open seahorse, it doesn't even list my default keyring." See the other thread running: https://lists.x2go.org/pipermail/x2go-user/2019-October/005725.html
I believe the underlying issue is the same, so a solution would be great for not just myself but others as well. Thanks

Sorry, forgot to mention: I also created a thread in the Ubuntu Mate forum including screenshots, which appear to be truncated in this mailing list.
See here: https://ubuntu-mate.community/t/insufficient-priviliges-for-remote-user-via-...
I understand you are using Fedora, but the issue is an issue due to the X2Go privileges, so I expect if it can be solved in Fedora to work, it will also work with Ubuntu Mate and other distros.

I have tested a bit: The DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS environment variable seems to make the difference. Must examine further, though...

Even if I start mate this way:
#!/bin/bash unset DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS /usr/bin/mate-session > /dev/null ##END OF FILE
I have the same problem.
