I have noticed that I can log on to a pc which has an x2go server but only after I log on, after reboot I would have to log on to get access. Any way to enable it so I can log on to the server without having to sign on first? Sort of how google remote desktop works? thanks
Sorry, I do not understand. Of course you need to authenticate to let the system know who you are. Or what is the question?

I think I have a similar or even the same question.
I would like to have an x2go-session auto-start on boot, so that e.g. my chat client gets started up. I myself will only log in to that session hours or maybe days later. But I want the desktop and with it the chat client to have started up already back when the pc booted up.
Any way to accomplish this?

As I wrote above you can use x2goclient from the command line or pyhoca. You need to ensure that you are using ssh-keys for login.
