Hi. In Kubuntu 14.04 does not work native Screen Saver. Lock settings are set to 1 minute wait. But after this time, nothing happens. The logs written «Xlib: extension" MIT-SCREEN-SAVER "missing on display" ». Is it possible to do so would native Screen saver work?
Could you go on a KDE forum and ask around about "how to" manually crank the "native" kde screen saver daemon? Then launch it the same way as you do the xscreensaver daemon?
