Hello,
Great that it seems to be clear now why sometimes session are lost.
I've upgraded to the latest version of X2go, but after the upgrade I cannot login anymore. I've removed x2go completely with a --purge and reinstalled it again. But it's not possible to login, hmmm.
In /etc/group there is no group "x2gousers" anymore. Maybe I don't know how to add a user, but I don't find documentation about how to add a user on the wiki.
With regards, Paul van der Vlis.

Thanks for sharing and testing. This actually should not have
happened... Hmmm...
Is it possible to gain SSH access to your test machine? I would like
to see what the cause of trouble is.

Just cross checked here... Updated another of my servers -> works. Be
a bit more verbose on your setup.

I've tested Pyhoca-gui, and there is no problem. And no crashes anymore! Great!
So it's a problem with x2goclient, it's not really stable too, I saw some crashes of the client. I've reinstalled it, but it did not help.
When the autothentication failes, I see "Access denied. Authentication that can continue: publickey,keyboard-interactive". It's not a timeout, it comes fast.
In the auth.log on the server there is nothing. I've changed loglevel to debug, but I don't see any logs, but I am not really sure where to find them.
I've tried to run x2client with strace, but then it works most of the time. Without strace it does not.

I thought this was maybe a problem on my client. But now I've rebooted it, and I see the same problems:

Are here other people with the same problems or with no problems?
No problems with Pyhoca-gui. This works stable now. But in my opinion this program is too complex to use for "normal users".

I have tried it on another server with x2goclient. There I see no problems. Als no instability of the client with this server.
So I think there is something wrong on the first server I've tested it with. There I have still the same problems with X2goclient.
I've used the latest versions of x2go and x2goclient.
With regards, Paul.
