On a NX it's a feature on the server side, here it should be configured in the client. It makes sense to have this feature, however it should be implemented and tested. For the moment it is not significant enough for me to spend the time on it.

As a reminder, we have a similar thing in NX-X2Go, the "magic pixel" - which is annoying in fullscreen thinclient sessions as well. That's why code has been added to the server to disable it ("-nomagicpixel" in x2goagent.options).
Maybe you could make your code disable the menu bar if the same config file parameter is present? (Assuming kdrive is reading the same file)?
