I'm using the x2goserver (latest version) on a virtual xen machine running an LMDE desktop. The strange behavior is that the x2go sessions are never resumed but whenever I login, a new session is created and all programs have to be started again. The client is a Windows XP PC, and it makes no difference whether I use the windows client or the pyhoca gui to connect. Can anybody tell me what is going wrong here?
please do the following...
Become a watcher on the x2goserver (ssh -l<remote_user> <x2gserver>)...
Then start a session on that server as user <remote_user> (where <remote_user> is to be replaced by the username that you connect to the server with). To start the session I use the pyhoca-gui.
From the ssh session run ,,x2golistsessions'' (and if not promiscuous: send the output here).
The output is: 27142|ralph-61-1319105016_stDGNOME_dp20|61|mcd|R|2011-10-20T12:03:37|993c0d3aad844404be96e7e0f1acc581|192.168.1.10|30004|30005|2011-10-20T12:03:40|ralph|589|30006|
- Suspend the X2go session (describe us how you do that!!!)
From the pyhoca-gui I choose "active session --> suspend session. ("Sitzung anhalten" in German.) A message pops up saying "session suspended" followed by a second message "session closed".
- From the ssh session run ,,x2golistsessions'' again (and if not promiscuous: send the output here).
No output which means no session any more.
Hope, that helps.
