Bad news to x2go users who have reliance on a mac client. I upgraded to Lion, which has finally left Rosetta/PowerPC emulation in the dust since Apple has begun moving away from it six years ago, and when I went to connect to my x2go server, I immediately get the error:
"You can't open the application nxproxy because PowerPC applications are no longer supported."

NoMachine NX 3.5 runs strictly on PowerPC and Rosetta emulation and thus is no longer compatible with Lion. NX4 runs on Intel natively and will run on 10.7 Lion.

There is the OpenNX client for Mac which I've tested on Lion and connects to my FreeNX server no problem. So the nxproxy library must somewhere be ported to Intel-based Lion architecture?

Please advise, we have quite a few users who use x2go mac client and I need to have a support plan for Lion migrations.

Thanks,
Neil
