Dear all,
I use x2go to connect to my office computer (ubuntu 16.04 using XFCE desktop environment).
Let's say I'm logged into the server with x2go. Now if I go to my server computer and log in, it logs into a new and different desktop. My question is: is there a way to log into the same desktop that x2go is using when I go back to the office (on my server computer)?
Note: I tries using "Connect to local desktop". It does what I want but the image quality is significantly reduced and things become slow and laggy.
If "Connect to local desktop" doesn't do the trick for you, you could start a minimal X session on your office computer that fires up X2GoClient in fullscreen, then connects to 127.0.0.1 and provides you with an XFCE Desktop. That way, you could suspend that session and resume it from somewhere else, and vice versa.
