You will need to manually edit the repo file so that it points to the f30 repository as the f31 repo has not been created.

No, that's bug #1429 <https://bugs.x2go.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1429>, caused by a libssh update that brought a functional change. If you can, please try x2goclient from the heuler repo and provide feedback if it fixes the issue for you.
