X2go was working a while back, but now when I boot the client I just get a blank screen and this message:

The session then aborts on a timeout.

My desktop is XFCE, so I use a custom desktop and command “startfxce4”.  Everything worked fine previously. 

If I try “connect to local desktop” I get “no local desktop found.

I am running client 3.99.2.2

I have the server packages installed (Ubuntu 12.2) but only the x2gocleansessions is running.
