Thanks, this works.
But I've never used XFCE before, and read on the listserv that starting it in x2go a certain way results in low-quality graphics. The quality of this session XFCE desktop looks OK to me so far, but I wouldn't really know.

Why doesn't PyHoca work?  I launch a remote host, it asks for signon and
that is approved, but then nothing.  Manual launch, and nothing.
