Now, this was an interesting first test: running x2goterminate-session from a console inside the x2go session resulted in a **instantly terminated session** - no delays, no error dialogs.
Also, I've just installed kdebugsettings, but couldn't still to figure out how to use it.

Just as an idea on how to narrow down the cause: You could try running
the command "x2goterminate-session" from inside the X2Go KDE5 session
window, and see if that also triggers the segfault, or if it leads to a
clean logout.
