This is just from a quick google search, I do not know the products. But it sounds like it could help here. Especially usbip, which is included in the Linux kernel since 3.17

Hi Stefan,

thanks for the explanation, then I know now that it is not a
configuration error on my system.

I'll see if I find a replacement for putty I had installed on
the flash drive of the thinclient. Then I would run on my computer (only
there I need the webcam from time to time) x2go over the client
software and would have in the background the option of the webcam.
