Background...

For some time now I've been trying to get x2go client/server working ubuntu 12.04 beta 2.

But I am consistently getting failed x2go session starts.

Brand new client install of Ubuntu 12.04 desktop:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:x2go/stable
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install x2goclient

Brand new Ubuntu 12.04 server with ubuntu-desktop installed

sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:x2go/stable
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install x2goserver

On client:
I start x2goclient and set Session type to Gnome
I start the session and everything looks normal as I see my x2goclient display "running" then it just returns "Finished" and
no real remote desktop session ever gets started.

I enabled x2goserver debugging and the output is below.

Can anyone decipher the messages and give me an idea why the session never starts fully on my client?
