Hello,
Can somebody tell me what's the status of desktop sharing?
Is it not possible at the moment, or is it read-only? I do not know the status of the X2Go implementation. It is an important feature for us so we have been using X11VNC. It's as ugly as I can imagine an application being and has lots of broken parts but, as long as you avoid those, it is VERY fast and allows one to share desktop 0 - akin to KRFB but much faster and more reliable - John
desktop sharing has been implemented and I use it for customer care sometimes.
You can share a same user's desktop from two client sessions in rw
mode. You can get read-only access to another user's desktop. However,
this limitation is coded into one of the x2go scripts. Thus, I guess,
that it should be possible to get rw-desktop sharing across account
borders.
