I am not able to make compositing work in xfce.  No transparency,

shadowing, etc.  Not even the needed settings.

 

I'm thinking it has to do with this in .xsession-x2go-errors:

xfwm4-WARNING **: The display does not support the XComposite extension.

 

Is there some way I can make this work?

 

Also my xfce sessions are not being saved when I terminate an x2go

window.  I suspect this is because X is crashing on logout before the

session can be saved.  Has anyone had this experience?
