Hi Uli,

I probably got more information:

cd /var/lib/x2go/

--> Permission denied.

ls -l /var/lib/x2go/

drwxr-xr-x  2 root    x2gouser  4096 Nov 11 22:58 x2go

Actually I guess there is the problem. However, no idea why I don't have permission rights here.

Any idea?

Sudo apt install - - reinstall x2goserver

Before trying to find out what us wrong I suggest to reinstall
x2goserver and its dependencies.
