I'm using openSUSE 12.3 on both machines(server and client) I have configured KDE with spanish keyboard layout and pc105/es keyboard type in both machines. In x2goclient I have unchecked the option "Keep current keyboard Settings" (checked doesn't work either). The values here are:

1.- Connect with your x2goclient. 2.- Open a konsole in your remote session. 3.- Execute:
setxkbmap es
If this fixes your problem, maybe you want to configure properly your keyboard en systemsettings of KDE.
