You can share a same user's desktop from two client sessions in rw mode. You can get read-only access to another user's desktop. However, this limitation is coded into one of the x2go scripts. Thus, I guess, that it should be possible to get rw-desktop sharing across account borders.
Is it possible to get access to a running normal desktop (so not a x2go session)?
