Hello,
I have been using an older version x2go client for a while now and I like it. This morning I tried to install the new version. I uninstalled the old version then tried to install version 4.0.4 (32-bit version) on a 64-bit Windows 7. The install completes however, there are no sign of installed x2go. I tied to install the older version (4.0.3) but the same results. I have turned off the anti virus and run the install as administrator. Any suggestions.

Hi JH,
This is the current version of X2Go Client that you should be using on both 32-bit and 64-bit Windows: http://code.x2go.org/releases/binary-win32/x2goclient/releases/4.0.4.0-2015....
As for why "there are no sign of installed x2go", perhaps you chose not to create a desktop shortcut or a start menu folder during the install? If so, it should still be installed at: C:\Program Files (x86)\x2goclient\
Of course, you could have changed the installation path during the install. The above is merely the default.
If you do not see it there, can you confirm that you saw the UAC prompt when you ran the installer?
