is that Debianb squeeze or still Debian lenny? I played with Debian squeeze (Skolelinux squeeze) for quite a bit and did not see any problems about display detection with my hardware at hand (analog VGA, LCD, Netbook-TFT etc.). However, I only did testing and am not confronted with a whole range of thin clients consisting of inhomogenous hardware.

Hi Mike,
for me until now I tried only with lenny. Once I installed squeeze everything in my specific configuration get worse (it's a special radeon-bug in the current squeeze xorg-radeon-driver).
Most of the monitors are detected right but not all.
I'll try with squeeze.
