X2GoBroker Python3 CentOS 7 issue

Hi, I'm having an issue installing the x2gobroker-agent package on CentOS 7. Does x2go work with signed certificates

Hello, just wondering if X2GO has capabilities to work with signed certificates. I am currently using x2go to connect to a centos 6.1 server with essentially an interface to mysql. The connection is done through public and private keys, with authorised key file(public key) on the users home directory on the server. I want to switch to signed certificates, will x2go support this? I use vault by hashicorp to sign my certificate after public key is sent to it, then I authenticate using private key and signed certificate to the host. The command is: ssh -i signed-cert -i ~/.ssh/id_rsa username@ip_address

Dear $ALL, As stated in the subject line, X2Go: The Gathering 2019 will take place at Linuxhotel, Essen, Germany, from Friday afternoon, 2019-09-27, to Sunday afternoon/evening, 2019-09-29m and will, again, be a three-day "work and play" (coding, chatting, sightseeing, socializing). X2Go: The Gathering is the annual event where users, admins, and developers (including the i18n volunteers) of X2Go meet face to face, to discuss current X2Go-related issues, fix open bugs, and have a good time getting to know each other. As there is some overlap between X2Go, Arctica, and orca e.V., you can expect to see members of those groups as well. *ATTENTION!* If you want to join us *and* want to sleep in one of the hotel rooms at the Linuxhotel, we need the number of beds and nights you want to reserve, as well as *your full name* (as printed on your passport) and *your nationality* by *2019-08-19* *23:59:59* *CEST* (yes, that's 2019-08-19, *not* 2019-09-19)!!! Very important!!! After that date, we will be unable to reserve a room for you! First come, first serve! As single rooms are in short supply, please book your bed in a 2- or 3-bed room, unless you absolutely have to use a single room. Please send your reservation request to X2Go-ML-1(a)baur-itcs.de with the text "The Gathering" somewhere in the subject and bug me publicly on the X2Go-Project list if you don't receive a confirmation by e-mail after a day or two. Hi Uli, sorry for the long delay. Thank you so much for the research, yes, the compression details that you mentioned and how to set the connection speed makes complete sense. The tiling is something that i have noticed. I have been able to reduce the bandwidth requirements very much, it does not look pretty (which is to be expected) BUT it does work. I wonder how I could put this documentation on the x2go documentation site, so it would be avialable to everybody. The idea would be that if somebody looks for this, they can find it. Older versions (for instance 4.3 as used on Ubunto 16.04 LTS) of bash don't support quotes in arithmetic expressions (or at least not very well), while newer versions (4.4 on Debian Stretch) don't seem to have any problem with that. The newest, working certificate should valid from 06/02/2019 and have the SHA256/SHA1 fingerprints E4:48:B2:AD:8A:D1:D4:B7:35:D3:93:88:DE:93:C2:A1:0B:D2:24:93:3C:03:2F:6D:BA:23:9A:AC:14:89:21:A6 / 64:D4:B9:8F:04:0A:51:D8:DD:F6:15:2D:09:F0:ED:2F:9B:68:4F:4E. X2go Repos
