Having a problem with connecting to remote desktop in Windows

Hello all, Getting this message while trying to connect to remote desktop: [image: Встроенное изображение 1] I press `Yes` button, but it cannot do anything and asks again this question. I suppose that this message is most probably because of ssh trying to save my machine as `known host` in configuration and not able to find appropriate path for saving the file, because I don't have any problem while connecting with linux machine.

Two servers - one adjusts resolution, the other does not?

Hi, I have two machines with x2go server. Both are "debian unstable", both are running XFCE, both have x2go-server 4.0.1.22. But one adjusts resolution according to the window size while the other does not. The server that *does* adjust adds new mode into xrandr mode tables, e.g. 1436x865: xrandr: Failed to get size of gamma for output default Screen 0: minimum 320 x 240, current 1436 x 865, maximum 6400 x 1602 default connected 1436x865+0+0 0mm x 0mm 1920x1200 60.00 (....) 1920x1080 60.00 6400x1602 60.00 1436x865 60.00* may@Dell:~$ The other does not, it only lists modes that monitor can accept, the image is scaled to window size (super-ugly). Same goes for copy-paste - but I have same settings in X2go client for both. Any idea on what should I check? Thanks, May

Yes, this has been an issue for a long time, for csh-based shells anyway. http://lists.x2go.org/pipermail/x2go-user/2015-October/003550.html If you read through that thread, we did find a decent workaround – putting some logic in .cshrc to load the correct keyboard mapping. Darby

Mint Silvia Nightly

I am trying to install the nightly build on Mint Sylvia 18.3, but there is no 'sylvia' in the repo so I tried to install stretch. I've build the nx-libs and installed them without error but attempting to install x2go from stretch (18.1) on sylvia (18.3) results in: apt install x2goserver Reading package lists... TCE-live build

Hi everybody, I'm new to x2go and I am trying to set up a thinclient environment and I try to build the live netboot image. x2go client seg fault

My x2go client will stay connected for a while, then crash. I have an ssh connection open to the same box and it stays up, as does an RDP session, so I'm thinking internet connection problems are not an issue. Client connection not possible

Hi, I reinstalled a machine (SLES 11 SP3) and used the repo http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/X11:/RemoteDesktop:/x2go/SLE_11/ for installing x2go. When I try to connect a session seems to be started, but is closed immediately. There is no helpful log in the moment (see below). Any idea how to check the setup ? On another machine I can connect without any problems ... I have currently no idea what might be the problem ...?!?!? Any idea ? "The remote proxy closed the connection while negotiating"

I keep getting this message from my x2goclient "The remote proxy closed the connection while negotiating the session. This may be due to the wrong authentication credentials passed to the server." I am shown the usual "Select session:" dialog box with columns display, status, command. And also the normal buttons suspend, terminate, new, resume, cancel. There is 1 session listed. I double click on it and get the error. But the password is correct. I can ssh into the session with no problems. I think this error occurs because I recently deleted x2go related directorys in /tmp or ~/ on the client machine. Is that possible? And if so could we make the error message more helpful? I have uninstalled and re-installed x2goclient including the ~/.x2go* dirs and it does not fix the problem. How to start a new session with x2goclient on background?

Hello, I found out that there are some commands provided by x2goclient commands such as `--hide` `--autostart` and etc. But I couldn't find any commands that will create a new session for me without making a user to type IP, PORT and USERNAME on GUI x2goclient. So in brief, I need the command something like "x2goclient --start --ip=192.168.11.12 --port=22 " to access remote x2goserver with given parameters. Is there any ways to handle it ?
