Both of these problems appeared a few days ago in what used to be a
functioning X2go client/server. The server is CentOS 7,
x2goserver-4.0.1.20, the client is Fedora 25, x2goclient-4.1.0.0.
Previously, when I started a KDE session, the startup music would play
and I was able to play sound files and have the audio on the client.
Now this does not work. Running mplayer gives messages saying that it
failed to initialize audio driver pulse.
When I right-click on a button in email or on a web page to display a
menu, the application hangs for maybe 20 seconds before the menu
appears. A left-click on a menu item also has a long delay. This
happens with both Thunderbird and Firefox. I can run Thunderbird
remotely using "ssh -X" and none of this behavior occurs. One odd thing
is that this was happening a couple weeks ago and then disappeared. I
don't know what caused the problem before or what changed to cure it.
Any ideas?
