X2Go Fedora Package Archive: Provisioning of OpenSuSE Leap 42.1 Packages

Dear all I am happy to announce that from now on the X2Go package archive that provides Fedora packages of X2Go[1] also offers X2Go packages that have been built against OpenSuSE Leap 42.1 - the new OpenSuSE Leap release version. Please note that OpenSuSE Leap is only available on x86_64. We hope this makes our package archive more useful. If you encounter dependency problems when installing X2Go release or nightly packages[2] under OpenSuSE Leap 42.1, please file a bug against X2Go BTS[3]. Launching "gedit" crashes X2go session

SSH agent forwarding with X2Go client

Hi, I know this has been asked long ago before but it seems there is still no SSH agent forwarding with X2Go client (I know it exists with PyHOCA but I prefer using X2Go client). Is it planned ? This would be a very interesting feature since I would prefer avoiding deploying my users private keys on their remote machine so that they can hop on other machines without password authentication (espacially with our gitlab server). I know there is a way to workaround this with the SSH proxy feature but that doesn't work well with Windows and my users are running X2Go client under Windows. Best regards. I use X2Go with Debian Linux Wheezy (server version: 4.1.0.0-0x2go1.1~git20160225.1310+wheezy.heuler.1, client version: 4.0.5.2-0x2go1~git20160504.1196+wheezy.heuler.1). All packages from X2go repository (http://packages.x2go.org/debian) It works fine, but I can't hear the sound local, it comes everytime on remote machine (on the x2go server). All settings are default, no changes. Is there anything I forgot do to? I tried this with Debian to Debian machines and with windows (7, x64) client to Debian server, same result. x2go stopped working, how do I debug this?

We recently moved a server to a new network and x2go is not longer working. The x2go client crashes too quickly to view or copy the error messages that occur before it fails. On the server side, I can see these messages in this in auth.log. I've replaced all possible identifying information (hopefully) with bash-style variable substituions (e.g. $USER). I'm not really familiar with things like this, but it looks like it is repeatedly creating new sessions, and then these sessions are closed (for some reason). I don't understand form these messages. On the client side, this is as much of the log as I can get before the program crashes. I haven't been able to locate the x2go client logfiles . Want to set the Display number in X2GO client

Hi, I am new to x2go and for a testing I need to export the display of a centOS docker onto the x2go client. However, I am facing the issue is the Display number in the x2go client is changing as we connect onto the docker host IP with the specified username and password. So the DISPLAY variable set for the x2go server in the docker doesn't match with that of the x2go client and hence, it is giving the error "Error: cannot open display:". Can someone suggest me what I am doing wrong here or if there is any way by which we can set the display number to a specified value for a certain user or if we can make use of some other tool. X2Go TCE problem

Hello list, I use http://wiki.x2go.org/doku.php/wiki:advanced:tce:install as my guide to install X2Go TCE on: - Linux Mint 17.3 MATE x86-64 as X2Go Server, and - Debian 7.90 as PXE server (both are VMWare VM). Booting my thinclient I got boot menu: X2Go Thin Client Environment - Boot from local harddrive - X2Go Thin Client - memtest86+ (run memory test) Press [Tab] to edit options When I choose "X2Go Thin Client", it just only showing text mode login as below: Debian GNU/Linux 7 x2gothinclient tty1 x2gothinclient login: _ Do I possibly missed something in my config?

X2go on a tablet - options?

I want to travel light and still be able to connect "back home" via x2go if something needs my attention. I will be carrying an Android tablet, so it would be great if I could use that (along with an external mouse & keyboard). I see several options, but no clear indication of which is best: 1. Android with the work-in-progress client 2. Get a dual-boot tablet (Android/Win 10) and use x2go under Windows 10 3. Dual-boot with Android & Linux and run x2go under Linux I don't need sound or file sharing or printing, but I do need the setup to be reliable. Has anyone tried this? fresh install - debian sid

Hi, as I had some problems (all sessions were killed on logout instead of pause and resume) with my years-old x2go-server I decided to purge x2go*. But: on debian SID 64 I cannot install x2go again. The reason are dependancy problems with nxagent. Any hints? Thank you in advance, Frank
