x2go without single point of failure

Hello What is recommended way of having x2go without single point of failure? Anybody implemented it? What you used to load balance? x2go broker or some other solution? If x2go broker then how did you eliminated risk of s2go session broker server failing? What solution did you used?

Hello Since on http://wiki.x2go.org/doku.php/wiki:advanced:x2gobroker:loadbalancing site isn't too many information about load balancing I have question how exactly this load balancing is working? Connection client <-> broker and broker <-> server is up till client disconnect from server or this connection exist only on time of creating connection between client and server? How many clients can be handled by broker in same time? Is it possible to use x2go for around 1k clients connected simultaneously when every one of them generate pretty big network traffic? Or should we consider other load balancing solution? Usage of how many x2go servers is recommended for this number of users? Greets, Gafi

Hi, I noticed the same, gnotime is not noticing idle time and messenger apps either mark me as idle when I'm not or keep me "active" all the time. Screensaver not kicking with MATE

Hi. I'm running MATE Desktop 1.12.1 on a CentOS 7.2 server, and access it using X2GO. Mostly everything is working great, except that the screensaver is not kicking. I have: > gsettings get org.mate.session idle-delay 1 > gsettings get org.mate.screensaver lock-enabled true But when loging in using X2GO, it looks like mate-session doesn't detect inactivity at all. Neither the screensaver, nor the locking works. I'm running this in a thin client setup, so screensaver/session locking is quite important. Anyone else have the same issue ? CUPS-X2GO Local Printer /usr/lib/cups/backend/cups-x2go failed

Hi All: I'm getting a printing error in an x2go instance that has worked for a long time, and am hoping to get some help. The error that shows up in the client side (windows) print window is: CUPS-X2GO Local Printer /usr/lib/cups/backend/cups-x2go failed The server where I'm running x2go ran out of disk space before a fix got done, and am wondering if that munged a key or set of files, as am guessing this is something to do with printing authentication (it's a single node x2go server and x2go printing). I've tried re-installing the x2go printing (cups-x2go, x2goserver-printing). I've copied in a "cupsd.conf" from another working instance.
