unable to open database file

I have a new x2go server installation that I installed from the EPEL 6 repository. I am getting the following error when I try to connect. Connection failed. DBI connect('dbname=/var/lib/x2go/x2go_sessions','',...) failed: unable to open database file at /usr/lib64/x2go/x2gosqlitewrapper.pl line 93 [limit users] at /usr/lib64/x2go/x2gosqlitewrapper.pl line 93. Usually I just install x2go and it works. Any ideas what might be wrong or how to debug this installation? Brent

General screen redraw and performance issues with x2go and CentOS 6.7

Hello, I've installed x2go on the following platform: CentOS 6.7, KDE x2goagent: 3.5.0.32 x2goserver: 4.0.1.19 x2goserver-compat: 4.0.1.19 x2goserver-extensions: 4.0.1.19 x2goserver-fmbindings: 4.0.1.19 x2goserver-printing: 4.0.1.19 x2goserver-pyhoca: 4.0.1.19 x2goserver-xsession: 4.0.1.19 I access the server using the following: Client 1: OS X El Capitan (Version 10.11.3) Mac x2go client (latest version) LAN connection (ping to server < 0.4 ms) Client 2: Windows 10 Pyhoca-GUI (latest … [View More]version) WAN/internet (ping to server <15 ms) Under both clients, I sometimes experience a tremendous amount of unresponsiveness (more than a minute) where I cannot interact with the screen. Sometimes I get so impatient that I just terminate the session and start a new one. Another issue that happens much more frequently is the incomplete redrawing of my screen, especially in EDA tools (Cadence Virtuoso). When zoom in/out of a design on screen, it becomes a scrambled mess. I have to hover my mouse over parts of the screen that did not redraw (sorta like using paint brush or an eraser to reveal the image beneath). Running the same applications remotely through ssh/x11 tunneling, I have not encountered these issues (so far). But when x2go does behave well, I prefer it's experience especially when dealing with multiple sessions (suspending, terminating them) and how the windows behave. A more interesting note, I installed x2goserver on an older server running CentOS (5.11) and the performance is very good. I do not encounter the aforementioned problems. One difference I noticed in my logs is that the new server (on CentOS 6.7) uses a deprecated QDBusConnectionInterface, while the older server does not show this in the log. In any case, I included the '.xession-x2go-errors' log file below from the CentOS 6.7 server. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Black screen after pxe boot

Hello! While TCE boots via pxe (showing the progress bar) it uses only 25% of the screen (1920x1080) in the upper left corner. After booting the screen is black and displays a small "x" for the pointer. Other PCs / clients work, so I suspect that there is a problem with the video driver. Does somebody has any idea? multiple connection to a single x2go session

Hi Sometimes I leave my session (connected from Windows to Linux) open from one windows machine and would like to connect to same session from a different windows machine. X2go client forces me to terminate the running session before opening another one. I'd like just to connect to the same running session from a different windows machine. How can I do that? Tx, Nira

Hi All, Apologies upfront to everybody if I am posting this in the wrong place, but I do not know where else to go. I am trying to install x2goserver on a banana pi running bananian. I did all the stuff about installing the keyring etcetera as described on the webpages, but if I do an apt-cache search x2goserver the thing is not listed. Encryption Algorithms

Is there anyway to specify which encryption algorithms x2go allows or tries to use? I have a problem where I've got the latest and greatest installed, Ubuntu 15.10, latest client, etc. I have customers with old Ubuntu like 12.04LTS, and they can't connect with their old x2go clients because it can't establish a compatible set of encryption. How to change OS X x2go client keyboard shortcuts?

In the OS X client, Control-Option-F toggles fullscreen. I would like to pass the chord through to the server, because C-M-F in emacs is forward-sexp. Is there an easy way to do that? optimizing x2go resource use

Dear X2Go users, I'm working on optimizing resource use of a largish-number of sessions. I made a few optimizations, e.g., disabling xscreensaver, but there were a few things I couldn't figure out on my own. Is someone here able to help? 1) Does X2Go do its desktop rendering on the server's GPU? x2goagent memory usage (leak?)

Hi, I have used x2go for a while now and I observed that on the server, the process x2goagent is increasingly using more memory over time. I starts out with something like 300 MB, and rises steadily. I leave the session disconnected (suspended) when I leave work (usually I just shut down the client PC). The next day, memory usage is much higher, roughly 1GB. I just upgraded to nightly build and it is horribly broken on Ubuntu Wily.
