Hi My x2gobroker installation works very well (nightly build). I have a question about x2godbadmin and the --addgroup option. I have supposed that run the command x2godbadmin --addgroup x2gouser add the group in the PostgreSQL database and then all members of the x2gouser can access to x2goserver But after that, it appears that new user add to the group can't open a x2gosession. x2goserver say : "Can't read password file /home/xxxx/.x2go/sqlpass". So, what do really this command ? * Read the content of the /etc/group/ * find x2gouser line * read the users that are member * add on per one in the database the user and write a ~/.x2go/sqlpass for each one ? desktop freezes when connection lost

Love x2go, but one significant annoyance. If I sleep my client without first shutting down x2go, then when it wakes, desktop is unresponsive until x2go timesout, and asks whether to terminate. I don't know what x2go is doing that freezes desktop, but I don't think this should happen. I'm using kde on client side. I saw this behavior for some time, both on kde4 (fedora f22) and now on kf5 (fedora 23).

Use X2Go on ThinClient

Hi all, How can I use X2Go on ThinClient to remotely connect to a Linux box? My ThinClient is IGEL UD3-130 LX. Thank you very much for your help. Jeffrey

FC22 - Trinity

FC22 What Works - What Doesn't

The following Window Managers work: LXDE, XFCE, MATE, OPENBOX, and ICEWM The following doesn't work: KDE (black screen) GNOME (Oh No Something Went Wrong!) Unity (Oh No Something Went Wrong!) Cinnamon (Crashed - Fallback Mode, and that leaves just wallpaper) Trinity (Can't run starttrinity, may not be properly installed) On all of the Window managers that work, logout only works on ICEWM, all the others I have to terminate the session. x2go not working with fedora f22 kde?

I just updated server to f22 (actually, clean install of OS). When I try to start x2go client (from fedora f21), I get don't seem to get any kde desktop. If kde was configured to restore session, I just get the window that I had used previously (konsole), but no panel - no action on right click on desktop - no way to start anything or do anything. I tried mv'ing ~/.x2go on the server, but that didn't help. Tried mv'ing ~/.kde on the server - still no help. Nothing logged under ~/.x2go, where are the logs? -- Those who fail to understand recursion are doomed to repeat it

libclutter problems (evolution, gnome-nibbles, cheese, ...)

I can't start evolution, gnome-nibbles, cheese in a x2go session: ---(schnipp)--- $ evolution Unable to find suitable fbconfig for the GLX context: Failed to find any compatible fbconfigs $ $ gnome-nibbles (gnome-nibbles:32235): Clutter-CRITICAL **: Unable to initialize Clutter: Unable to find suitable fbconfig for the GLX context: Failed to find any compatible fbconfigs Gtk-Message: GtkDialog mapped without a transient parent. This is discouraged. $ $ cheese (cheese:31089): Clutter-CRITICAL **: Unable to initialize Clutter: Unable to find suitable fbconfig for the GLX context: Failed to find any compatible fbconfigs ** (cheese:31089): ERROR **: cheese-application.vala:86: Unable to initialize libcheese-gtk Trace/Breakpoint ausgelöst $ ---(schnapp)--- Possible there is the same problem with other programs, but these are the ones I found. I use the following setup: x2goserver: 4.0.1.19-0x2go2+git20150326.1064+jessie.main.1 on debian jessie x2goclient: 4.0.4.0-0x2go1+git20150526.1057+jessie.main.1 also on a jessie-system Is there a solution or workaround for this? Thanks!

x2gobroker resume session

Hi. I use the nightly build on a 14.04 Ubuntu Could anyone confim me that resuming/suspending a session is functionnal trough a broker ? I can resume/suspend a session directly to a x2goserver but i can't with the broker. Regards Franck
