Windows Decoration missing if windows is too large

Hi, I am using x2go with published applications. Now when I suspend a session and resume it on a smaller display, which is smaller as the application was before, the application is displayed full screen but without window decoration and there is no possibility to resize the application. If I resume on a bigger display again, the application displays normally including windows decoration. In addition when starting firefox or chromium I never get a windows decoration (I guess the application tries to start with a size larger as the display). All this happens on Ubiuntu 14.10.1, server 4.0.1.19 and http://code.x2go.org/releases/binary-win32/x2goclient/tmp/x2goclient-4.0.4.0 -2015.03.10-ffc56f3-setup.exe Is there a way to shrink the size of the application in such a case, so the windows decoration appears again? x2go thinclient - problem with audio and usbmount

Hi all, I installed successfully a x2go tce (debian wheezy, x2go-packages from backports) with mate-Desktop. However I can't get audio work: * audio works in local (non tce) clients connected to the server - but not on thin clients. * inside the thin client chroot the pulseaudio soundsystem is running, however if I try to connect as root with paply I get the same error. * If I try to play a sound file with paplay from a terminal inside the Mate Session I get the following error: 'Failed to drain stream: Timeout' Anybody of you have some hints for debugging this? X2Go stops working with Apple OS Upgrade

I upgraded my Mac to Yosemite on Friday, and X2Go stopped working this morning. I was told to delete and re-install Xquartz, which I did, but it still fails. Question 1 – where are the log files for X2Go? The error flashes on the screen and disappears too quickly for me to read – I think it is telling me my display host is invalid, but I’m not sure Question 2 – Is this a known problem with Yosemite? What do I have to do to fix it? Yes, very likely.... though I wonder why, as in the worst case, only nx-libs, the other packages (x2goagent etc.) and x2goserver should have been affected. x2go clients becoming vers slow over time

Hi, as already discussed on IRC, we experience a massive slowdown when over time when working with x2go. Time frame is about 4h or so. We tested both, pyhoca GUI and x2goclient. Happens to both clients. What we experienced is that the whole client system is slowed down! What do you suggest to look at when this happens? Do other people see the same? OS: Kubuntu 14.04 amd64 (client) Kubuntu 14.04 amd64, Xubuntu 14.04 amd64 (server) x2go: Latest stable versions via stable PPA. Thanks a lot and cheers, Matt

Session Resume fails with 4.0.1.19-0~1062~ubuntu14.10.1

Hi, I am using x2go for a long time with x2goserver 4.0.1.15 on OpenSuSE 13.1 without problems, but there are no updated packages for OpenSuse As client I have windows x2goclient 4.0.3.2 running on windows 8.1 So I installed an Ubuntu 14.10 and the newest x2goserver packages: x2goversion x2goagent: 3.5.0.28 x2goserver: 4.0.1.19 x2goserver-extensions: 4.0.1.19 x2goserver-xsession: 4.0.1.19 Session resume does not work on the new machine. Session.log says: Session: Resuming session at 'Fri Mar 13 06:22:59 2015'. Info: Proxy running in server mode with pid '18931'. Info: Waiting for connection from 'localhost' on port '30001'. And after one minute: Info: Aborting the procedure due to signal '1'. Session: Display failure detected at 'Fri Mar 13 06:23:59 2015'. Session: Suspending session at 'Fri Mar 13 06:23:59 2015'. Session: Session suspended at 'Fri Mar 13 06:23:59 2015'. I tried to run x2goclient -debug but did not find the place where the log is written on window. Any idea what's wrong or how to debug this? New setup

Howdy everyone, I'm working on migrating a 20 workstation windows 2003 terminal server environment to x2go. I'm very excited. I'm going to be running a Dell R900 with 16 cores at 2.93 ghz and 128 megs of ram. I'll have between 500 and 800 Gb of disk space depending on the raid configuration. I'm leaning toward Ubuntu but I'm open to suggestions. My question for the forum is about the Linux distribution and suggested configurations. I have a test setup running with Ubuntu on an older server. The performance has been ok but when viewing videos on YouTube using the x2go client it's a little choppy. That's all for my ramblings. Problem with session broker in heuler Fedora 20 repo.

For the package maintainers; Situation: We have an old freenx server farm running RHEL 6 and freenx server software. This farm consists of 9 nodes and two load balancers. We are looking to switch from RHEL to Fedora 20 and x2go was selected as the best solution to populate the new server farm. We were really impressed with the client server performance and the activity of the project. X2go Sound doesn't work for Session Type "Connect to local Desktop".

Hello, Anyone has any idea how to get sound to work on X2go for a running session shared on on more than one computer. I start a session by choosing session type "KDE" on one computer. then on the other i going the same session by choosing "Connect to local desktop" on the first computer the sound works but on the the second one it doesn't any ideas how to solve this problem.
