Problems with Screen Saver in kubuntu 14.04.

Hi. In Kubuntu 14.04 does not work native Screen Saver. Lock settings are set to 1 minute wait. But after this time, nothing happens. The logs written «Xlib: extension" MIT-SCREEN-SAVER "missing on display" ». Is it possible to do so would native Screen saver work?

Libreoffice 4.x on X2go in Unity

Hi There is an odd problem when we launch Libreoffice 4.x spreadsheets in X2go: If we open more than 3 spreadsheets at a time, some documents seems to be open in the task management panel, even if they are closed down. The problem does not occur with Libreoffice textdocuments. Neither do the problem occur on Libreoffice 3.x. And finally, the problem does not occur if I log on directly on the server without X2go. The server is running Ubuntu 12.04 Unity. I have tried with both X2goclient and pyhoca client on Ubuntu 14.04. I attach a screenshot. Regards Kjetil

Stefan, I know its easy for a non-dev to say because I don't have to change the code but I agree with you... *> judging from this user feedback, maybe we should change our terminology? > "Detach" (German: "Trennen") seems to be less misleading than > "Suspend" (German: "Anhalten").* "suspend" *implies* stopping something with the intent to restart later. As Mike mentions, the problem *could be* solved by teaching people what x2go suspend currently means. That can work but to me... its not natural. It reminds me of an old cartoon where a plumber had installed the hot & cold shower controls backwards (hot=cold, cold=hot)... The plumber was talking to the homeowner telling him... "Hey... its simple... when you take a shower just remember "H" means - Holy cow thats Cold ! <g> Brian

cheap hw client for x2go

Hello! I've plugged a raspberry pi directly into a hdmi monitor, booted "Raspberry Pi Thin Client project" and installed x2go client. Seemed hw is not usable for a x2go session (not smooth, really slow). Is there any cheap, x2go capable solution? -- Saludos!! screen size problem in gnome session

hi! this is my first post. I have a problem in gnome sesión using Windows client. Gnome Window session is much bigger than client. Not possible configuration in client's side. Stopping a session from suspending on disconnect

Hi All, I've been using x2go on a number of machines that we have remote users connect to for a while now. Before using x2go we were using neatx, but the development on that seems to have stalled and isn't available packaged for newer Linux distributions. X2go is generally working well as a replacement (thanks guys!), however one complaint that I'm getting from users is that x2go suspends sessions on disconnect. Some users have graphical tools that they are kicking off to run long tasks and want to disconnect, leaving the task to complete (for example, over night) without needing the session to be maintained. This was the default behaviour in neatx and hence the behaviour that the users have come to expect (sessions wouldn't suspend on disconnect). Is there any mechanism built into x2go to achieve this? Client and broker authentication

Hello, When using the broker with Apache and WSGI, it is possible to have the client perform NTLM authentication against Apache? That way we can offer single sign-on for our users, we want to authenticate against an AD server and some clients are Windows desktop machines. Thanks Michael

Testers Wanted: X2Go Client for Windows 4.0.3.0-pre01

In preparation for the upcoming release of X2Go Client 4.0.3.0, a preview build of X2Go Client for Windows is available for download under: http://code.x2go.org/releases/binary-win32/x2goclient/previews/4.0.3.0/ (Last I talked with Mike#1, X2Go Client 4.0.3.0 is due sometime next month.) It is based on commit 2ffcad0 (which should have fixed bug #566, but testing is still pending) and is built with MinGW 4.8. (X2Go Client 4.0.2.1 was built with MinGW 4.4.) The default build is the same as the nightly build 4.0.3.0-2014.09.16-2ffcad0 (except for the updated version string in add/remove programs and the filename.) The debug build is also available here: http://code.x2go.org/releases/binary-win32/x2goclient/previews/4.0.3.0/non-… There are no longer any miscfonts or fullfonts builds because those fonts are now optional components in the installer. This has also increased the size of the installer from about 20MB to about 50MB. x2go with broker - disabled suspend?

Hello, I am using the latest release of x2go QT client with a broker and a few x2go servers. I would like to disable the suspend option and always terminate, is that possible? I can't find a configuration option. The end users are running browsers only, if I could run a script on suspend or disconnect I could just kill the session myself. Michael
