connecting to same session via different networks

I routinely run a session that I connect to via one network address during the work day, and then connect via a different address from home. I setup 2 sessions on the client side. They have the same 'name', but different network addresses. This all seems to work perfectly. I'm just wondering how it works. Do I get the same session because I gave them the same name? Can I setup multiple different sessions by giving them different names?

Have I found a bug or does X2Go Client win32 require 3D acceleration?

I was however able to start a new session to a different x2goserver: http://i.imgur.com/SVJzbg0.png The x2goclient is running on a windows 7 SP1 32-bit VM (with all available "recommended" and "important" windows updates, but not the 3 "optional" updates) hosted on Fedora 20 64-bit's Virt-Manager. I am connecting to the Windows 7 VM via-virt-viewer 0.6.0 with SPICE and 32-bit color. Whether you're using virt-viewer over the network or you're accessing the VM directly on the host through virt-manager, there is no support for 3D acceleration currently. Start up constrained to local screen size (above task bar) possible?

Is there any way to make an x2go client (windows in particular) start at a size that fits on the local screen above the task bar even if connecting to a running session that was started at a larger size - and then resize the remote desktop to fit? I'd like to be able to start sessions from a desktop PC and be able to pick them up and continue easily on a smaller laptop. Having the bottom left corner of the window always appear where I can see it (and reach with the mouse if subsequent resizing is needed) would save a lot of contortions. -- Les Mikesell lesmikesell(a)gmail.com
