Folder sharing does not work with x2goclient

Hi list, While folder sharing works fine using pyhoca-cli, it does not work at all with x2goclient. This is what sshd says on the client side when trying to "share" a folder from the gui: May 8 13:55:43 uranus sshd[23908]: Connection from 127.0.0.1 port 51821 May 8 13:55:43 uranus sshd[23908]: Connection closed by 127.0.0.1 [preauth] mount's output on the server side does not show anything interesting. I am running Ubuntu precise (12.04), both on the client and the server. Do you have any hints on how to debug this further? Mac OSX and keyboard

Hello, Is X2goclient working on Mac OSX? I read some messages that there are keyboard problems. Not sure they are gone. (I have a customer with Macs who does not want to upgrade because the office will be closed in a few months.) Xwin start failure: unsafe environment error

Hello, I am running 3.99.2.1 on Win-7 64 bit, accessing a Linux desktop locally. Worked fine for a while although I some time got an error which is not persistent: when connecting to the session I get: Xserver aborted due to an unsafe environment. Win was started with the following command line: (null). A quick google of the error brings me to the parsing the args of the x-server. Is the x-server being started with a wrong command line ? Is this an x2go issue or xwin ? If any one can tell me how to collect more info, much appreciated. Thanks Gertjan

issue: GTX don't work with V.4.0.0.1

Hello, I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 and a GTX 680 (Driverversion: 304.48) The old x2go (3.) worked with different 304.xx versions. Debugging tips?

I'm just starting to use x2go, and it has mostly worked great. But, I have run into problems where I connect to my server, get authenticated, but never get my application displayed. I can see the x2goagent process running on the server, but the app never displays. Creating a new user account and logging in with that has usually succeeded as a workaround. But, obviously that's not a solution. I'm sure there is a simple fix for this, like cleaning up some lost session data. But, my attempts thus far have failed. Are there any session debugging tips available? Or, pointers for where to look or how to enable more debugging output?

Hello list, a question from the forum where I need assistance as I do not yet have a reference environment: http://x2go-community.org/node/27 - small network, already using ldap - local access and ssh access works - but via x2go: "The remote proxy closed the connection while negotiating the session. Ubuntu 12.04 connecting to Ubuntu 12.04 only got black screen

Hello all, I have a ubuntu 12.04 laptop client with x2goclient 3.99.0.5. installed. I use this client to connect to another ubuntu 12.04 server with x2goserver 4.0.0.1 installed. I got a black screen, and later it is disconnected. This happens when I upgraded the ubuntu server. It worked well before I did this upgrade. I found this thread https://lists.berlios.de/pipermail/x2go-user/2011-May/000152.html When I followed method in https://lists.berlios.de/pipermail/x2go-user/2011-May/000157.html It becomes even worse. Now I got an error: Connection failed DBI connect('dbname=/var/lib/x2go/x2go_sessions','',...) failed: unable to open database file at /usr/lib/x2go/x2gosqlitewrapper.plline 66 [limit users] at /usr/lib/x2go/ x2gosqlitewrapper.pl line 66. x2go timeout error after 4.0 upgrade

user profile not loaded on login to remote ubuntu machine, x2go server with gnome-fallback-session Hi all, Last night I setup the x2go qt-client and server on my home and work ubuntu 12.04/Unity machines. Connection speed is great, and I am able to login mostly without trouble, except, my login user profile (found at .profile) is not loaded, meaning of course that none of the items i need to be on my PATH can be found. As a work-around, I simply load it manually (source ~/.profile) and restart any applications using the current profile (nautilus, terminals etc). However, i'd prefer not to have to implement this work-around, if there is a way to properly fix it, or have some automated process load it for me. FYI, i've installed x2goserver and x2goserver-xsession on the server, and the QT4 x2goclient on the client. Does anyone have any idea? Kind Regards, Sean

25 user logon problem

Hello everyone; I have set up a x2go terminal-server on ubuntu 12.04 in our school. There are 25 thinclients (wyse with windows7 embedded) in a classroom. The thinclients start with an openbox-session. So far it works fine, but there is a little problem: If more than 2 or 3 clients log on at exactly the same time, some of them stop at the black screen before the gray X2Go Logo appears. There is no error message. With a little timeshift of 2 or 3 seconds between the logons, there are no problems. Can anyone get a little help to solve this? Regards, Th.Hanschke
