Folder sharing does not work with x2goclient

Hi list, While folder sharing works fine using pyhoca-cli, it does not work at all with x2goclient. This is what sshd says on the client side when trying to "share" a folder from the gui: May 8 13:55:43 uranus sshd[23908]: Connection from 127.0.0.1 port 51821 May 8 13:55:43 uranus sshd[23908]: Connection closed by 127.0.0.1 [preauth] mount's output on the server side does not show anything interesting. I am running Ubuntu precise (12.04), both on the client and the server. Do you have any hints on how to debug this further? Mac OSX and keyboard

Hello, Is X2goclient working on Mac OSX? I read some messages that there are keyboard problems. Not sure they are gone. (I have a customer with Macs who does not want to upgrade because the office will be closed in a few months.) Xwin start failure: unsafe environment error

Hello, I am running 3.99.2.1 on Win-7 64 bit, accessing a Linux desktop locally. Worked fine for a while although I some time got an error which is not persistent: when connecting to the session I get: Xserver aborted due to an unsafe environment. Win was started with the following command line: (null). A quick google of the error brings me to the parsing the args of the x-server. Is the x-server being started with a wrong command line ? Is this an x2go issue or xwin ? If any one can tell me how to collect more info, much appreciated. Thanks Gertjan

issue: GTX don't work with V.4.0.0.1

Hello, I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 and a GTX 680 (Driverversion: 304.48) The old x2go (3.) worked with different 304.xx versions. Impossible to connect since update

Hello, I was happily using x2go between my Debian server and my Debian desktop since a few months when things stopped suddenly working after an update of both Debian yesterday (I haven't updated them since beginning of october). Debian server is with Debian stable (x2goserver) and Debian desktop is on Debian testing (x2goclient). Here are the version installed: x2goclient: 3.99.3.0-0~x2go1+squeeze~main~321~build1 x2goserver: 3.1.1.6-0~x2go1+squeeze~main~610~build1 Here are the logs I am getting on Debian server: sshd[11491]: error: connect_to localhost port 30001: failed. sshd[11491]: error: connect_to localhost port 30001: failed. sshd[11491]: error: channel 0: protocol error: close rcvd twice sshd[12040]: Accepted publickey for user from 92.226.X.X port 55500 ssh2 sshd[12040]: pam_unix(sshd:session): session opened for user user by (uid=0) sshd[12079]: error: bind: Address already in use sshd[12079]: error: channel_setup_fwd_listener: cannot listen to port: 30002 sshd[12079]: Received disconnect from 92.226.X.X: 11: Bye Bye sshd[12040]: pam_unix(sshd:session): session closed for user user sshd[11491]: channel_by_id: 0: bad id: channel free sshd[11491]: Disconnecting: Received ieof for nonexistent channel 0. sshd[11483]: pam_unix(sshd:session): session closed for user user And here are the logs I am getting on Debian desktop: Loop: PANIC! The remote NX proxy closed the connection. Loop: PANIC! Failure negotiating the session in stage '7'. Loop: PANIC! Wrong version or invalid session authentication cookie. I have checked that nothing is running on Debian server on port 30001 and I have restarted the SSH server, the x2go server and deleted .x2go directory on both Debian but errors are still the same. Can someone help me debug this ? Thanks

Organizing Booth at LinuxTag in Berlin

Hi all, as in past years, the X2Go Team plans to present X2Go with a booth at LinuxTag (LinuxDay) in Berlin (May 22nd -- 25th 2013). Alex and Heinz plan to go to Berlin and they are looking for two more official persons supporting them at the X2Go booth (the rule at Berlin's LinuxTag is: you come with four people!!!). Unfortunately, I myself won't be available in May (as I am buying a house with my family and that has precendence!!!). I have a suggestion regarding "usability".. I had a new server to setup so I added x2go ppa and installed the firefox plugin. Starting Firefox then going to Tools/Extensions/Plugins I see the newest plugin version is there (see below 1st image).... but *clicking on "MORE"*on that screen presents the next/2nd Image. All that screen tells the user is the x2go version number again...? *My suggestion: looking at that 2nd image .. * *how hard would it be to include the x2go wiki's URL for configuring the x2goplugin & associated website ??* Seems this would enable people that install the x2go plugin to self-directed toward the rest of the "HOW TO" information to enable it (re the website setup) [image: Inline image 1] [image: Inline image 1] 1. Hi all, I have updated the pubapp wiki page. I have added / improved the several methods of deploying published applications to users [1]. Thanks to Terje for providing this wiki page in the first place! With this update, I have also added a little feature to x2gogetapps [2].
