TC Display Resolution

Hallo X2Go users, We are running X2Go in a TCE environment on debian squeeze. Three types of thin clients are in use: 1) Shuttle X27D, Atom 330, Intel 945GC ICH7 chipset, Intel GMA950 2) Shuttle XS35V2, Atom 525, Intel NM10 Express chipset, Intel GMA3150 3) Shuttle XS36V, Atom D2700, Intel NM10 Express chipset Intel GMA3650 With the standard kernel 2.6.32-686, we didn't manage to run higher resolutions than 1280x1024 on all of them, neither on the greeting screen nor on the Gnome desktop (Ubuntu 10.04). I embedded kernel 3.2.0 in the boot environment. With it, the Shuttle X27D works fine with a resolution up to 1920x1080, but the preferred fanless XS35V2 and XS36V boxes still do not work with higher resolutions than 1280x1024. You will find further informations in the attachment, The two graphics GMA950 and GMA3650 are considered. Log's from GMA3150 look similar to the GMA3650 ones. The error message "(EE) open /dev/fb0: No such file or directory" in the file "Xorg.0.log-GMA3650" is obvious, also I don't understand way it happened. Does someone have a hint how to change the configuration, so that the nice fanless boxes will work in higher display resolutions too, up to 1920x1080? Hi, I upgraded the server ( debian squeeze ) and now no-one can do client side printing. I cant check the spool dir as chown / chmod dont work on the seesion dir. does anyone have a fix for this? I have tried the latest x2go client and pyhoca with no success. Kind Regards, Kris.

New X2Go releases: pyhoca-gui, python-x2go, x2gognomebindings

Dear all, The X2Go Project is proud to announce a couple of new X2Go component releases: - python-x2go (0.2.0.6) - pyhoca-gui (0.2.0.1) - x2gognomebindings (2.0.1.6) All new packages will be available in our stable repositories (Debian, Ubuntu) within the next 24h. The Windows version of PyHoca-GUI will be available within the next 48 hours. The new PyHoca-GUI and Python X2Go versions are mainly bugfixing releases. The new X2Go Gnome(2) Bindings package fixes a problem with unmounting of client-side shares if the user's HOME is mounted via NFS. Note: this package is only installable on GNOME 2 installations (Ubuntu Lucid, Debian squeeze).
