Hi all,
at German schools there is a great debate that high school / grammar
school students don't write their own essays but repetitively copy
from Wikipedia... Some schools block Wikipedia out of that reason.
Before some pure student copies this [1] article, can any of the
native English speakers having experience with X2Go, please get things
right at en.Wikipedia?
Main flaws...
o X2Go is _NOT_AT_ALL_ an implementation of the NX remote desktop protocol, it is a protocol of its own!!! It uses the NX-X11 Xserver, that's all. o X2Go can be used to access desktops on a PC, BUT ITS MAIN USE CASE is providing standalone remote sessions (with no physical desktop attached) o X2Go has not been adopted by Fedora, it has been packaged for Fedora...

Adding to that, the German Wikipedia Article on X2Go could use some help, too. To avoid conflict of interest, our additions should go to the talk page, a kind soul has already promised to weed through them and remove any non-neutral point of view we might introduce.

I guess an overview on the product that explains the different
compenents and feature would be cool.
I'll leave that to you and probably Stefan, you is more eloquent in
such stuff than me. Jos, please write a draft of what you think X2Go
is (you were planning an article on X2Go, weren't you?). I am happy to
act as a reviewer (not as a writer), if ok.
