Hi Mike,
The Czech translations should occur if you (tomorrow) install a Debian or Ubuntu system, and then install X2Go Server from the nightly repository (aka heuler).
Thanks.
Unfortunately I'm kind of dumb I think. As I never used Debian based distros I didn't find out how to access the debconf translated strings. Even after asking uncle google for some tips and testing around. Would you mind to give me some hints please?
What I have now is a fresh install of Debian 9.3 with x2goserver installed from heuler based on the instructions at https://wiki.x2go.org/doku.php/wiki:repositories:debian
The PostgreSQL related warnings won't show on fresh installs, only on upgrades from old versions of x2goserver. However, the desktop sharing translation should be testable. You need your system to be installed in Czech locale (or switch to Czech locale later). Then install x2goserver-desktopsharing: $ sudo apt install x2goserver-desktopsharing Now the debconf templates should pop up. You can repeat that, by running $ sudo dpkg-reconfigure x2goserver-desktopsharing
Btw. I wasn't able to install x2goserver on a freshly installed Ubuntu 18.04 from heuler. It failed with some missing dependency. Unfortunately I didn't copy the message before I dropped the VM...
Urgh... It would be cool, if you could send the exact error message to X2Go's bug tracker. Thanks. Greets, Mike
