I start the new 3.99.1 r2 release and the gui will not connect. The last status shown ist "connecting" but the nx log in the detail window will not showed.
If i start the client from the console, i got this error:

Please do me a favor and try this build: http://www.ionic.de/x2goclient-git-1e13d3578f.dmg It features a new way of connecting the local X11 servers (via UNIX socket instead of TCP.) Report back, if this fixes your problem.
Best regards,
Mihai
Sorry, your new version has the same error on OS X 10.7.3. I can test 10.5.8 later. Here is the log output:

ssh connection ok
continue normal x2go session

Is it possible to start the gui in debugging mode to see more log output?
Best regards, Stephan

Mmh, crap. Well, it's not related to Xorg. This error is coming from libssh. I've seen it before (on my server), but it was never fatal.
Please make sure you're running the newest possible version of x2goserver on your remote machine.
Is it possible to start the gui in debugging mode to see more log output?
Unfortunately, there is no other debug mode for x2go. However, I could give you some build with libssh debug support (it will be very noisy though.) There you go: http://www.ionic.de/x2goclient-git-1e13d3578f-2.dmg
This may shed some light on the problem.
Mihai, thank you for your debug build. See my log attached:

can you see something wrong? Or can you diff it with a working connection?
Thank you Stephan

Yes, there was a problem with libssh and ubuntu server. Ask Mihai for the latest build against an older libssh version. It works for me.
