Hello Jasper,
you'll need to have an working x2go LDAP installation to use load balancing. All working servers are added via the ldap.addserver command - for example ldap.addserver x2goserver 192.168.0.250. Every Server added this way can be requested by x2goclient, which will choose the one with the lowest numbers of users. It is possible to enter a "ratio" to each server to prefer servers with more power (it's done inside the ON branch of the LDAP Tree).
Best Regards,
Heinz

Hi,
I've got a challenge writing a proposal for a client of ours. The client has around 150 simultanously logged in users and he wants to migrate to a Windows thinclient network. I looked at LTSP-Cluster and of course at X2GO.
Has X2GO the same features like load-balancing the thinclients in a farm of servers ? I cannot find any documentation regarding setting up a load balanced farm with X2GO. Can someone point me in the right direction ?
With kind regards,
Jasper van der Marel

Hello Heinz,
Must the x2go client also use LDAP to request the servers for loadbalancing ? The Windows client for example does not use LDAP. Is it possible to use the Windows client for loadbalacing or must I use another loadbalancing solution (like LVS) ?
Best regards,
Jasper van der Marel
