Hello,
I am having some trouble with the x2go Windows client 3.01-2. I have several Ubuntu 9.04 systems and a Windows XP SP3 system. I have installed x2goserver-one 3.0.1-1, x2gognomebindings 2.01-1, and x2goclient (QT4 version) 3.01-5 on the Linux systems (those versions are the ones apt chose from your repository) and they are able to connect to each other with what appears to be full functionality. But the Windows system cannot connect to any of the Ubuntu systems, even using the exact same session parameters. So it would seem that the problem must be with the client on the Windows box?
The Windows box definitely has network connectivity to the others; I am using VNC and SSH via PuTTY already. After I press "OK" in the PIN entry dialog there is a pause of 30 or 40 seconds and then I get a popup titled "Error":
Connection failed servername.local: ssh: connect to host servername.local port 22. Connection timed out
In the auth.log on the server there are no corresponding entries appearing in response to the attempt.
Is there a client-side log or some other method I could use to trace where the problem is occurring?
Thank you,
fw
P.S. This is fabulous software and I imagine it will be standard in Linux distributions before too long.
